Time to test

I actually had time to work on the layout of the new blog. I used any freetime I had for it which consisted of only a few hours. I am beginning to understand CSS it is just challenging to go from someones creation rather than start one of your own from scratch. On my trip to work I usually am mute due to no cd player or IPOD in my possession. This all will change tomorrow, I plan to purchase Sony ATRAC Walkman Portable CD Player with MP3 Playback and Clip Remote. It will be a decent player for now until I can afford an IPOD or MD player. Having music will be a great plus on the dreadful trip to work. Boy do I hate the bus or as they say it down here, the “buzz”.

Long time no see

It has been a while since I have posted recently or it has felt like a while. Working at BK is very tiring, at certain times of the day it becomes very hectic inside. I have been working there for about 2 weeks now. I don’t plan to quit anytime soon either, not until I leave for school in August. Can not keep the job because FIU is all the way in Miami and having a job and class would be such a pain. The wedding that was planned on the 23rd went great. It was very good to see family and say hello. I took some pictures of the trip and will upload them as soon as I get D on the phone to remind him to email them to me. I got a call from Linen N Things asking if I am still seeking employment. I surely am, bitches! Maybe I can handle BK and LNT’s at the same time? With no school for the moment, I do think it is possible. I haven’t had time to touch the “internet” much anymore or even the PC. I will put my WoW account on hold as soon as the Account Management page comes back up. Don’t have time to play it anymore; at all. I try and try to help xxx get a job but he always changes the subject or says he’s waiting on one. Hopefully in due time, he will see he needs one and can’t keep leeching off his mother or family. Though there is no problem with that, he is 20 and lacks responsibility. We all grow up at different times in our lives and notice things need to be done. I am about to pass out now and my bed is looking mighty tasty.

Work, it is

If you do not know, I recently had an interview at Burger King. Though many will be like, Burger King!! For the time being, it was the only job I could find. I’d rather work at BK than be unemployed. I then can finally afford a car and look for an even better job. I have my aunt’s wedding to attend on the 23rd of April, I hope I can get those days off. Don’t want to ask for days off so early though but asking wouldn’t hurt. I pray I can fit in at BK, everyone, no, some of the girls there usually stare at me. So I will greet, smile, and be on my way. If you don’t reply, you will get stink face of doom! I am up quite early, woke up around 3:50am when I go in at 8:00am, catch the bus around 7:30am. When it comes to sleep, as long as I get enough, I am on full. I don’t want to go there thinking it’s a boring/hectic job. That is totally the wrong attitude so I won’t. Must keep the thought in my head that, “It pays”.

What time is it? bed time.

Well, spent most of the night working on the blog. Not actually on the blog itself but learning what everything does. Wes pointed out to me that working on the classic template is a lot easier so I will give a swing at that in the morning. Ravindra is suppose to be picking up a monitor in the morning, don’t want to be a sleep when he comes by, at times I do not wake up for the phone or when someone is knocking at the door. CSS is really fun to play with, I can tell you that much. One single character can make it cranky though, then you have to go back letting out a soft sigh thinking, “What the hell did I do wrong?” Working with Golive and Dreamweaver for so long has put a gap between editing text and letting a program do it for you. I never lost my “elite skillz” so all I must do is learn the tricks of the trade. It is now 5:55am, I must sleep.

I-Channel gone AzN: Bi aka Rain

About a week ago, I just happen to turn on International channel. Seems as if they changed the channel to AzNTV, how elite is that? Not one of the best names to change into but they have added many more dramas and cinema to the line up. I caught Korean Music Countdown, I saw a PV from an artist named Bi. The song was titled, “I do.” It was a very nice song, very cool and calm, after hearing the song, I quickly wrote his name down. About a week later, I get my hands on his latest album, Vol. 3. I am not the one that is too into R&b, usually not my kind of music. But when it comes to Se7en or Bi, it just doesn’t seem to fit into the R&b category. They add a little pop onto some funky, booming beats that seem to slide their music right in the middle when you try to categorize it. If you haven’t picked up either of the albums, be sure to! Hello, again.

After seeing all the things WordPress is capable of doing, I will finally be switching. Wes’ blog really made me see the light, I am now a WordPress user. There isn’t anything wrong with blogger.com at all but with WordPress, I feel free to make the certain changes I want, whenever I want and knowing the blog is running on my server, I feel safe.

Congratulations on 100,000 downloads WordPress. It really does deserve it.
