January 8, 2008 on 1:32 pm | In Blog, Life | No CommentsIt much easier to post on my sidekick now. I easily bookmarked my page now I can frely post onto my blog. Though I usuallt get an error that asks me to run or stop the javascript that is found on the page. And for better news!
We will be purchasing our tickets to japan at the end of january. I think it will be early enough. I hope so. Can anyone shine some insight? Either way, that’s the due date.
I have been thinking of surprises to surprise Mika with in the mean time but I can’t post about them here since she does read the blog. (-____- ). I’ll post over at my local forums for more details.
Today is the start of a new semester. It’s so cold in building 5. Like my toe nails turned blue. So blue~ Damn you A\C.

Hajime No Christmas~
December 24, 2007 on 7:03 pm | In Blog, Life | No CommentsKonichiwa minasan~! The ending of the year has been very special to me. It has been a test for my heart and soul. I have met many new friends and have grown special bonds with many people. I am thankful for doing so! I know for some life is challenging but all you can do is nod your head and rush in with your defense!
This will be the first Christmas Mika and I will have apart. I feel a bit sad and when talking to her today, I began to cry. It’s that feeling that you feel when you are very thankful but at the same time, you know to be with that person when you know they need it. Earlier she told me about how she was a little sad since in Japan, Christmas is a holiday for couples and family. Usually the couples are together, holding hands on the coldest of days, trying to keep each other warm. I felt bad not being able to do so with Michan but it can only make us stronger! During our phone conversation today, I let out tears but I tried my hardest not to let her hear them bounce from my cheek to the phone. They are tears that will make my cheek and spirit stronger so I don’t mind if they run for a few minutes. I know the tears are running from my hearts which is an eternal pond that will never stop running!
During the Christmas season, I spent my free time hunting down cute gifts for Mika’s care Christmas package! I found so many DVD’s and a cute teddy bear! I also framed many of our photos. The box came out to a total of 9lbs. With 2 day guaranteed shipping it came out to about 65$. The price of the contents of the package was a bit expensive but I don’t mind. I had time to shop for everyone! Thank you for the gift Wes! I am thankful to be your friend and I appreciate it dearly! I still await your response as well! ^^
My car moved to Japan
October 26, 2007 on 6:44 pm | In Blog, Life | No CommentsWith the purchase of the new car, I have to make it very stylish. A friend of mine from my office has a VW Golf with a German license plate. It looks extremely cool so I wanted to try to get the same theme except with a Japanese license plate. Recently I bought some decals to go on the rear window of my car but I have not had time to place them on yet. Tomorrow I will go to my dealership and have the front license plate added on. Until then, I only have pictures of the unpackaging.

Sidekicked to the I.D.
October 26, 2007 on 5:57 pm | In Blog, Tech, Life | No Comments[New phone acquired! - Sidekick I.D.]
As Mika left to Japan, I thought about finding a simple device that would allow me to keep in contact with her easily through email. In Japan, the email system is used among mobile devices, not text messaging. I didn’t want to have to go with another PPC (PocketPC) and have to troubleshoot it at times so I went with Sharp’s Sidekick. It’s a very good device and I recommend it to many. Many of my friends have the Sidekick 3 and now the LX but I have no reason to go with such a device since I only use it for text messaging and email. An extra mp3 player and camera isn’t needed. I have removed the thought of upgrading from my mind. It’s very stable and it looks very clean and sleek. I can comment on the data service and say it’s been connected 24/7 since I have gotten the phone about a week ago. I cannot commend on the phone service since I don’t use it as a phone. And mainly, it saves me money since it is 30$ a month and I was paying 15$ on my PPC phone for text messaging and 40$ for the data plan which only included internet usage. In my eyes, the Sidekick I.D. is a bargain, pricing at 99.99$ with a 50$ mail-in rebate. Can’t get much better than that!

Life: In a post.
October 9, 2007 on 12:24 am | In Life | No CommentsToday I start with a new beginning. Many things have changed in my life this year and hopefully things simmer down. I’ll start with the biggest news ever that most people are happy about.
STEFMAX is engaged. (^_^)
Usually a person my age would say to ones self, “I can’t get married now! It’s too early and I’m too young!” In this case, I am that person stating, “It happens; when you fall into love and feel as if you can be with that person forever, you will no choice but to try to be with that person as long as you can.” Who knew love could be so strong! The feeling of knowing that soon I will be a husband is incredible. Since, I have been mapping out my life on a mental chart, choosing with paths and decisions I will have to make in the near future. Say for example, my schooling and graduating, my money situation, and even more decisions. Love seems to add a little bit of special to the boiling pot called life. That pot just needs to be handled carefully or else it will spill and you will drown in it. It gives you a pillow of comfort to know that someone is by your side cheering you on and that for yourself, you have to accomplish the goals needed with the time period you have chosen. It’s one less thing you have to worry about, one less piece of stress that can add to the other madness happening in your life. I guess that’s why so many people fall in love and then are so easily broken up after a few years. It’s something that can take over your mind and make you agree with evil decisions that are created within your brain which is drunk with love. For me, it’s in the case you find someone so similar to yourself and who you are. It’s like destiny knocked on our hearts. We both say the same thing to each other: That it was destiny that led us together. We have only been together for months but it the feeling that is held by the both of us is strong and comforting. When it comes to communication, my Japanese is not so good compared to her skill level in English. Out of 10 she is a bright 8 when it comes to English and I am a slow 3 when it comes to Japanese. This semester I am taking JPN1101 so slowly it is becoming like a second language to me. When Mika and I speak to each other, it’s usually a mix of the two languages. If you were to sit in-between us you probably couldn’t make out our conversation if you spoke only English. I think it fuels that same feeling my Mother and Father held at one point in their life.
What else has been going on in life? My artistic side has punctured a hole through my skin and finally began pouring out again. Ricardo and I are writing a script to a short film. It’s going to be fun creating such a piece since we both have some pretty intense imaginations and movie effects. It’s going to be an action/adventure/sci-fi show that will be broad casted on youtube but I think we may end up going with a higher quality streaming player. As to production, I finally maxed out the designing system to 4gb and can now execute Photoshop in a quick 9 seconds. Premiere loaded fast as well, faster than I expected by bar. Once we finish the script, we have to go location hunting and the choreography for the fight scenes. Also, I must get use to the effects found in Combustion and After Effects. It’s fun to be able to design again.
School is cool for people who aren’t tools. Truth is, I hold it to myself to place college in that basket of things I must complete within the next 2 years of my life. If it takes me 3 years, I won’t be disappointed in myself but if it does, it would only be a summer term. I plan to do all 4 of them for the next 2 years to knock off having to take them for Fall and Winter. It’s really a waste of time to take a summer vacation.
This summer I will be visiting Japan! Mainly the Tokyo area but my goal will be to visit every location that I find extremely interesting. Mika won’t have much time off so I hope to stay a few days with her. It will be quite the adventure my heart has yearned for. Since I won’t see her for 8 months, my heart will turn from a brick of stone to a heart pumping with love blood at the first glance I see her when I step into the airport. If anyone else plans to visit, maybe we can meet up and make plans! Onegaishimasu~
Anime convention this Saturday!
August 9, 2007 on 12:31 pm | In Blog, Life | 1 CommentThis Saturday I will be visiting my very first anime convention! Mood wise I have been up this week but I was a bit down yesterday due to a mix of things. Funny thing was that my girl friend was too but it wasn’t because of the same issues. It’s nothing serious, just every now and then, you have that slight slump that you trip into and easily step out of.
The convention is called Yasumi-con. Yasumi is Japanese for like a day off/holiday (no work). This year, the convention is taking place at a university so it’s right on campus and roughly 25mins away from my house. My Japanese Meet-up group will be there as well so we are going to meet-up in the beginning and hang out until then. I am hoping for sushi and karaoke afterwards if we can rent out a room early enough. I haven’t had a Saturday off for about 2 years so this is one I am proud of!
I am trying out Foxy Tunes. It’s a simple add-on that automatically posts the title of the song that is currently playing through your media player, to your post. Pretty neat stuff.
Now playing: B’z - IT’S SHOWTIME!!
You have friends! http://mixi.jp/
August 1, 2007 on 10:30 pm | In Blog, Life | 2 CommentsMika-chan told me about the awesomely contagious Japanese version of myspace called mixi! Except not just anyone can join. You must be invited by a friend or relative to actually take part in the website.
The website has some neat functions. You can install a toolbar for quick access to your profile or blog and even have it scan what songs you play to have it updated in your music box. These are just some of the many neat things you can do with the website but alas, you must install side software to do so. Many of us PC Techs aren’t too fond of side software, it tends to contain stupid third party software.
Maybe I’ll install it on the laptop since when in school, I’ll have quick access to the account.
Mixi welcomes you to the fun!
