Feedback on Live365: ハードコアJ
June 14, 2007 on 2:16 pm | In Blog, Music | No CommentsCurrently I have joined the SARS-forums. I have been eying it for quite sometime now and finally had the time to join. It’s not as active as I thought it would be but I would like to discuss and talk about j-doramas so I joined up.
Among joining, I was drawn to a thread titled, “Japanese Music Anyone?” I quickly read through and someone posted to live365. I have known about live365 but I thought it was more catered towards Europeans. My father is a big fan of it and I know when he’s on because he drains the network due to it’s leeching of bandwidth.
The radio station is HardcoreJ (JPOP) ハードコアJ. The katakana reads hard core. It says the latest JPOP but they do at times play some oldies which I always happen to catch. Brings back memories of high school, hehe.
The actual link to the radio station I enjoy is here.
I hope you too can bookmark this station because it is totally worth it.
Hallo!
April 23, 2006 on 8:27 am | In School, Music, Life | 356 CommentsBloc Party is in town on the 25th. Have plans to attend their show that night. I hope I feel like doing so by that time because at the moment I do not. I completed my paper that is due today. It’s funny because I started it about a month and a half ago. It was probably longer than that. I had Chris proof read it for me and I can say he did enjoy doing so. Reading the paper will give you a brief overview of my life and certain obstacles I had to tackle over to become the person you see today. Respect.
I-Channel gone AzN: Bi aka Rain
April 8, 2005 on 2:47 am | In Music | No CommentsAbout a week ago, I just happen to turn on International channel. Seems as if they changed the channel to AzNTV, how elite is that? Not one of the best names to change into but they have added many more dramas and cinema to the line up. I caught Korean Music Countdown, I saw a PV from an artist named Bi. The song was titled, “I do.” It was a very nice song, very cool and calm, after hearing the song, I quickly wrote his name down. About a week later, I get my hands on his latest album, Vol. 3. I am not the one that is too into R&b, usually not my kind of music. But when it comes to Se7en or Bi, it just doesn’t seem to fit into the R&b category. They add a little pop onto some funky, booming beats that seem to slide their music right in the middle when you try to categorize it. If you haven’t picked up either of the albums, be sure to! I will even give you quick links!
